Early one morning in 1872, a little-known French painter looked out his window and captured a sunrise over the city of Le Havre. Oscar Claude Monet painted the light of the sun in quick, sketchy brushstrokes. A couple of years later, he exhibited this little painting and needed a name for the catalogue. He said, “Use…. This event is open seating.
Kenmure resident, Marti Hutson spent 20 years at the University of Miami, Lowe Art Museum. She worked in Museum Education starting as a docent and going on to work in docent training and development. This is an opportunity to take advantage of Marti’s extensive knowledge and wonderful educational skills.
Following the presentation (11:00 AM -12:00 PM), we will have a French inspired lunch in the Charleston Room. If you participate in this activity, it is expected that you will stay for lunch.
